Guest guest
Dear Peter - I ran the chart up on Parachara's Light program and came up with 28 SCO 03 using Krushna's ayanamsha. That's an 11 minute difference. Are you sure the ascendant is right? Or perhaps I have something wrong? Please re-check. Thanks - Donna

Guest guest
Dear Peter - << Its up to you but I would say the the difference in lagnasshould not make any difference Leave it with you. >> OK, then, I'll proceed with the lagna I originally came up with, thanks. It will be interesting to see if the results come out the same anyway, which they should. Donna
Guest guest
Dear Donna and Sandy, I have just checked Tex's chart on both PL and GJ and I agree with my original figures. PL 27. 52. 38 Ayanamsa 22.13.16 GJ 27. 50. 24 Ayanamsa 22. 13. 53 Although 11 or 12 minutes may seem a lot it isn't really. I doubt if it will affect the Dasas by more than a few days and it should not affect the Bindus at all. We did have all these differences before when we played around with the dasas before on both GJ and PL. I don't know what conclusions you all came to but I found the one which gave me the nearest to Krushna's figures and have stuck with it ever since. If it really worries you perhaps you should use Krushna's formula to work out the ayanamsa and start from there. My GJuses the exact starting date with the correct yearly increase and with Krushna's figures for the 1.1.1900 date instead of using the straight line graph as I origininally wanted. When I do use a straight line graph it gives me a lagna of 27.50.31 Sco and an ayanamsa of 22.13.46 Its up to you but I would say the the difference in lagnasshould not make any difference Leave it with you.
