Dear Sanjay,

The Mars in your case is having good strength, But as it is situated in

2nd house, it will give results in both direction. Favorable and unfavorable

results, creats worries in its sub. But the last results will be favourable.

Regarding the main period the effect is negligible. I give the example,

For a person in service, suppose he gets his salary on 7th of every month, it is

not to be consider, that which is the month. So for each and every month on 7th

he gets his Salary. Now here assume the month as Main Period, and date as sub

period. So you can understand the effect of sub period.

Now if you study the chapter on Vishontary Dasha, you will find, it is

clearly mentioned that there is no effect of main lord. I think I have given

the original Sanskrit Sloke in my write up about this. There it is clearly

mentioned that if the sub lord is favorable and the main lord is unfavorable the

result will be favorable. Similarly if the main lord is favorable, and sub lord

is unfavorable then the result will be unfavorable.

Still some persons follow sub sub also. There is no write up about this in

ancient books. It have been added after wards. This all things may happened due

to wrong trac, followed by the persons and some research scolors.

If we go for the result oriented system, we get the result only if we

follow the sub period.

Re: 2nd House lord

Respected Krushnaji,

Thank you for the reply. I have tried to cross check the data with my own

chart and find that what you are saying is true.

Just a curiosity. In my chart, Mars is in the 2nd house with only one point.

From your lessons about 10th house relationships, as Venus is in the 5th

house with 7 points, Mars gets these points. As such, in the worksheet for

all houses, Mars is good as it has more than 12 points in every house.

Would the sub period of Mars still cause problems and worries? Or would the

points from Venus protect against this?

Finally, we always talk about sub periods. What about the affect of the main

period?

Kind regards

Sanjay

Dear Sanjay,

2nd, is an important house. The sub period of the lord of second house

always creats some problems, unneccesary worries, some disputes, toothache ,

litigations, etc. In the sub period of the Planets in second house, similar

results are experienced.( More prominent result for the planets situated in

2nd house with less points.)

The second house is also known as Marakesh, in Vedic astrology.

Actually if see from the theory of Ashatvarg, the second house lord becomes

the significator of 12th house (3rd lord from 5th house 'A'). Naisargik

karak of 12th house is Venus, and in naisargik chart ( Kalpurush chart)

venus is also second lord. It is Uchha in 12th house (naisargik chart).

So for the same reason it gives result for 12th house, Vairagya,

Expenditures, Litigations, Worries etc

My personal experience for 2nd house lord and for the planets in 2nd

house ( specially with less points ) is same. If you find, in any bodies

chart if sub of 2nd lord is running, you can predict, that he must be in

some worries. Some Panelty, some unneccesary unavoidable expences are there.

For ninth house results ( " B " ) the second lord (E)gives some

obstruction, and sixth lord (D) gives success. This is due to its property.

So most probebly it is called as Markesh.
