Guest guest
Respected Krushnaji, I have posed these questions to you in private and you have asked to me come through the group. As you had mentioned to mark a copy of the message to the group to your personal email also, I am doing that. 1. How to determine if a house is spoiled? We can take the following guidelines: a. It has less than 12 points in the SAV. b. Its lord is debilitated. c. Its lord has less than 4 points in in its AV. d. Its lord is afflicted by Rahu or Ketu or has the sight of a planet with more than 4 points. e. The lord is in a bad constellation. f. All of the point related to the lord applied to the natural and functional karak for the house. In this way, all the houses can be considered spoiled in one way or the other. So how do we go about determining the order of importance if these factors and judge whether a house is spoiled or not. 2. How do we consider if a planet is spoiled? We can consider the following factors: a. It is debilitated. b. It has less than 4 points in its AV. c. It is in the sign of a planet which is spoiled. d. It has malefic aspects by planets with more than 4 bindus. e. It is afflicted by Rahu or Ketu. f. It is combust with less than 3 degrees distance from the Sun. g. It is in balavastha or mritavastha. h. It is in bad star like Venus in Krittika. i. It has some other specific disability such as Venus being more than 43 degrees away from the Sun. Again, we seem to be able to call a planet spoiled on any of these accounts. So what is important in determining if a planet is spoiled. Your clarifications would be highly appreciated. Kind regards Sanjay
Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, You are mixing so many different things in one. All these things have different meanings. 1. First thing no house can give any result of its own. So marks obtained in any house is not a critariya to judge the strength of the house. No where in the write up it is said. Every time finding the strength we have to treat the house as 'B'. and should find the strength. The results of any house is based on the significators. Means the points acquired in row 17 of work sheet. if all the planets are with more then 12 points, then the strength of that house is good. It is not based on the points accquired by the house. > " Sanjay Jaggia " <sanjaygg > > >CC: " krushna Jugal Kalani " <krushanain > How to define spoiling? >Thu, 23 Nov 2000 12:26:54 +0700 > >Respected Krushnaji, > >I have posed these questions to you in private and you have asked to me >come >through the group. Guest guest
Respected Krushnaji, Thank you very much for the replies. These are all very clear. Can I then summarize as follows: 1. A house if spoiled only if its natural and functional karaks are spoiled or if it has several planets with less than 12 points in the master sheet. 2. A planet is spoiled for a particular house if it has less than 12 points in the sheet for that house. 3. There are some special combinations which spoil planets for certain matters. The ones that we know so far from you are that for Venus in Krittika for marriage. Venus more than 43 degrees from Sun becomes uncontrolled, and Venus combust less than 3 degrees spoils its karaktva. Jupiter in Libra loses its karaktva and gives opposite results if it has less than 12 points. Please advise if this understanding is correct. Please also advise if there are any specific cases for planets being spoiled apart from those mentioned in point 3. Kind regards Sanjay - " krushna kalani J.K.
