Guest guest
Dear Sylvia, Yes, you are correct, but My question is WHY JUPITER IS POWERFUL FOR ALL THE HOUSES? there is some special thing with Jupiter, so it became benefic for all the 12 houses. Guest guest
Respected Krushnaji, The answer seems simple enough. Jupiter has 30 points or more in all houses and is the strongest significator for all houses except for the 9th where Saturn has more points. It is not spoiled because it is not in Libra. Is there some other point that you had in mind? Incidentally, I get the ascendant to be about 10 degrees in Leo whereas you mention this to be about 4 degrees. I am wondering how can there be so much difference. Guest guest
Jupiter gets double benefit. This is easily seen from the worksheets. It not only gets the points of Saturn in houses A B and C because it has less than 4 points and is 10th from Saturn, it also gets the points of the benefic sight of Saturn. It gets no negative aspect points. Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, Yes you are correct, but I want the REASONING why Jupiter gets more points for all the 12 houses. With out calculating the points, we can say this planet is powerful for all the 12 houses. The ascendent is 20 degree in Leo, my 4 denotes the sign passed. Ascendent 04:20:48 means it is in Leo 20 degree, 48 min. Similarly Sun: 03:28:15 means it is passed Gemini and passed 28 degrees and 15 min in Cancer. Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, Yes your reasoning is correct. This chart is a special case, Mostly all instances are connected with Jupiter ( Rahu = Jupiter) in Sub period or by trasit of Sun. krushna > " Sanjay Jaggia " <sanjaygg > > >Re: Question for members >Sat, 9 Dec 2000 12:47:54 +0700 > >Respected Krushnaji, > >I just sent my reasoning as a reply to the mail sent by Sylvia. Guest guest
Dear Krushna - Yes you are correct, but I want the REASONING why Jupiter gets more points for all the 12 houses. With out calculating the points, we can say this planet is powerful for all the 12 houses. Jupiter has an initial 56 benefic points to distribute among the houses, which is the highest count out of all the other planets that eventually add up to 337. That's the only reason that I can come up with, simply that it HAS more points to distribute than any of the others to begin with because it is the most benificent planet. So Sun is in Cancer at 28 Degrees 15 min. This method, I know is the standard in India, but in the west, when you say 4:20:48, everyone will mistake it for 4 deg, 20 min and 48 sec. . . Perhaps a better idea, to avoid the confusion, would be to write simply as 20 LEO 48 or 28 CAN 15, etc. This would eliminate any guess work as to what the ascendant is and whether or not the format is correct. I can not complete the subject in one sitting, so I give the subject in part, as and when I get time. Sorry for discontinuety. Please read the message under heading complete study of a chart. My question is related to the chart,.... Why Jupiter, for that perticular chart, is powerful for all the 12 houses of that chart? Thanks to let me know the western system for giving the longitude of the planets. I will follow the same in future. Guest guest
Dear Krushna, In addition to what the others have already stated, Jupiter, the most benefic planet, benefically aspects the dusthana 8th and 12th houses (in addition to the 10th of course) in both Rasi and Navamsa, and is benefically posited in an angle in the Rasi and Navamsa. In addition to that, Jupiter is benefically posited in either an angle or a trine in a great many of the divisionals. ~Namaste~ Sandy http://www.jupitersweb.com/ krushna kalani J.K. Guest guest
Dear Sandy, Your answer is correct in one way, But my question was for all the houses, I mean considering them as house 'B'. The jupiter in this chart becomes stronger significator for all the houses, means for the results denoted by all the 12 houses. Please see my answer to Margarita. Guest guest
Respected Krushna, I too thought that the fact that it got high points in all houses was sufficient for its strength but from your reply to Sylvia and Sanjay I have had to look for other reasons. One it is near the degree of the ascendent which wouold make it more effective. Looking at which houses it affects I came up with: 1) It aspects the 8th, 10th and 12th directly. 2)Through Saturn it has influences on the 7th,9th, 1st, and 4th (which it occupies). Also the 6th of which Sa is the ruler. 3)Being 4th from the 1st ot influences also Venus and Mercury which are the Lords of the 2nd, 3rd,10th and 11th. and Jupiter itself is the ruler of the 5th and 8th. This means that it has influence on evry house. Is this what you were looking for?. Peter
Guest guest
Respected Krushna, While not disputing your birth time of 6.54am GMT I do have a query. You said that as it was given as " in the morning " that gave only 2 signs " Cancer and Leo " . Why? . In the west and pareticularly in England when we speak of " the morning " we normally mean from 12 midnight to 12 noon. I believe that in Vedic astrology day is from sunrise to sunset. According to PL sunrise on that day was 05.42 GMT and was at 28degrees Cancer. This would give a bit of Cancer, Leo,Virgo, and possibly some of Libra. before 12 noon GMT. So why are just Cancer and Leo considered for the birth signs. Respectfully, Peter
Guest guest
Respected Peterji, Pranam, In India when it is said in the morning, means at sun rise. As per my calculation the sun rise is 4:40:22 on that day. Taking this concept that Morning is treated from 00:00 to 12:00 hours. In that case we should consider Gemini, Cancer, Leo and Virgo also. The rectification of time is based on the main events of the chart and the strongest planet. In his life most events are happened near to 4th March. On this day the sun transit should be considered. Such degree should lie in 5th 9th 7th and 10th house. The main instance death of the father and mother. The death of any person happens in the sub of 1st house or 5th house or some other related planet. So taking the point 20 degree in 7th house, this condition is satisfied. Margarita explained this in her mail, please read that. So I considered thaT POINT SHOULD BE IN 7TH HOUSE. Henced fixed the ascendent axactly 180 degrees apart. Counter check for marriage and birth of child satisfied it. All instances are satisfied.
