Guest guest Posted December 14, 2000 Report Share Posted December 14, 2000 Hello Sylvia, To determine which house becomes the significator house for Ron's father's death proceed as follows : Ron has Leo ascendent Ron's father becomes the 9th from Leo, thus Aries So now Aries becomes the asc for the father. Long life is seen by the 8th house from Aries and the upashaya houses, so the count goes.: Scorpio becomes the 8th or house B The karaka from 8 becomes house A so if you count 8 from scorpio you arrive at Gemini. From Gemini A you count 3 this is D or Leo count further to 6 and you're in scorpio or B count further to 10 and you're in pisces or C count to 11 and this is Aries or E. So you always have to start from the house that signifies an event and count the 8th from that which always becomes A, and then just count further on. Once you understood this it's very simple. After getting lost many times you will find out easily.
