Guest guest
Dear Krushna, I get different points for Ron's 7th house for marriage, then you do,that is the only house I have checked so far, I get sun18, you have 19, I get mars24, you have 23, I get jupiter 30, you have 35, the rest of the planets are the same. Could you please send me the worksheet to see where I did it wrong. Thank You Sylvia On Tue, 19 Dec 2000 01:47:32 +0530 " krushna kalani J.K. Guest guest
Dear Sylvia, I do the sarvastak chart with the help of astakvarg charka, and calculations manually. The sun is in 12th house with 6 points, so adding 5 for the planets in D or E more then 4 points, I add actual points if they are more then 5. so difference of one point in Sun. In the worksheet, the Jupiter gets 2 points actually it should be 3. There is some mistake, it is in the 4th place from Mercury, and in 4th from Lagna, and one point for jupiter it self, so there should be 3 points, So due to sight effect my one point is increased. Only addition of 5 points is due to mistake, Jupiter being in 4th I added 5 points to Jupiter, which is wrong. Actually Jupiter is in 4th (house D) with less points so no points should be added. So Jupiter should have only 30 points. Ofcourse this will not change the results atleast for this chart, but we must go to the accuracy as for as possible. I have informed Mr Sanjay, that there is some difference in the Sarvastakvarg table. Guest guest
Respected Krushnaji, In my calculation, I get 3 points for Jupiter. I think you must be using the worksheet from the files section from egroup. Please use the one that I sent you. You will see that you get 3 points for Jupiter. There is a new principle I noticed If a planet in house D or E has more than 4 points, then the actual points should be added. Please confirm. If yes, I would change the formulas in the worksheet accordingly. Finally, I think the difference for Mars is not explained. Could you do that also so that I can check where the error might be? Kind regards Sanjay - " krushna kalani J.K. Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, I might have missed this, if any planet is having more then 5 points in house D or E, then add points accordingly. The difference of points for Mars is due to the sight of Jupiter. Jupiter gets 3 points so sight is of 5 benefic points. So Mars is reduced by one point. Sylvia Doing from which worksheet I dont know, I guessed , why difference is there. Some body was saying that Jupiter is with 2 points. So I guessed, this might be the problem. krushna > " Sanjay Jaggia " <sanjaygg > > >Re: Solution to exercise ( with theory) >Tue, 19 Dec 2000 12:42:20 +0700 > >Respected Krushnaji, > >In my calculation, I get 3 points for Jupiter. Guest guest
Dear Krushana, Do you mean if any planet in house D or E has more then 5 points add 5 points or what the planet has, example sun in Rons chart it has 6 points so we add 6 or 5 in 7b? I was just adding an x there. I have 3 points for Jupiter. Sylvia On Tue, 19 Dec 2000 18:37:46 +0530 " krushna kalani J.K. Guest guest
Dear Sylvia, The planets situated in house D and E with more then 4 points are benific for that house. They also have more eagerness to give the result. If any planet, being the lord of house D, and situated in house D, with less points, even then to distinguish it from others we add 5 points. Now for the benefic planets, for house D it must have more then 4 points, Suppose if it is having 7 points, then we should add 7 points, This is more justification to it. Planets with less points in House D, means it is melefic for the house, so we should not add for it. Guest guest
Dear Krushna, Based on what you are saying below, does this mean that line 8b in the Worksheet is NOT a constant and automatic " 5 points " for planets with more than 4 points, that are posited in Houses D or E, or am I misunderstanding you? You said: " Suppose if it is having 7 points, then we should add 7 points, This is more justification to it. " Yes or No Questions for Krushna: 1. Lords of D and E, benefic or malefic, are automatic 5 points, correct? 2. If a planet (benefic) is situated in House D or E with 6 points, we would add the 6 points in line 8b rather than the " constant " 5...??? If it has 7 points we add 7, etc..? OR 2a. If a planet (benefic) is situated in House D or E with 5, 6, 7, or 8 points, we would add just the automatic 5 points in line 8b of the worksheet? 3. If a planet is situated in Houses D or E with LESS than 4 points, it is a malefic and its points do NOT get counted, correct? Thanks! ~Namaste~ Sandy http://www.jupitersweb.com/ krushna kalani J.K. Guest guest
Dear Krushna and list members, I'm not sure whether I'm just getting slower with age or whether other people have much more time to spare than myself. I spend about 3-4 hours/day on the net and/or studying astrology and my method is to get my emails down then go through them. Ones witrh instructions or solutions I do not read thoroughly I just print them out for studying later. The problem is that often I read some peoples answers to the questions or problems a few letters later than the actual problem - where do they find the time???? At the moment I have one letter to go then I will be able to start on the questions posed by Christine which were given as a problem by Mr Krushna. With any luck I will be onto that tomorrow nbut in the meantime there are several answers to already posted - still it will remain a good exercise for study. Thus if you don't hear from me for a while don't worry I'm still there - just a week behind everyone else. Peter
Guest guest
Respected Krushnaji, Thank you for the answer. I have modified the worksheet so that the points of planets in D or E appear automatically if these are more than 4. Please try the one I sent to Sandy on the list. Kind regards Sanjay - " krushna kalani J.K. " <krushanain Tuesday, December 19, 2000 8:10 PM Re: Solution to exercise ( with theory) Dear Sanjay, I might have missed this, if any planet is having more then 5 points in house D or E, then add points accordingly.
