Dear Sylvia,

Attached is Ron's House 4 Worksheet so you can see how it is calculated.

In short, benefics (planets with more than 4 points ) aspect malefically and

malefics (planets with less than 4 points) aspect benefically. Planets with

exactly four points remain neutral - therefore casting no aspect benefically

or malefically.

So using Ron's Chart for House 4 we have the following:

Line 14a shows benefic Mercury, with 5 points, malefically aspecting Saturn;

Malefic Jupiter, with 3 points, benefically aspecting the Sun and Mars;

Malefic Saturn, with 1 point, benefically aspects Mercury, Jupiter, and

Venus;

Line 14b shows malefic Mars, with 2 points, benefically aspecting Saturn;

Line 14c shows neutral Venus, with 4 points, neutrally aspecting Saturn.

Line 15 a, b, and c, list the point value of the planets above.

Line 16 list the malefic or benefic value upon the planet aspected - So if

the planet is malefic, like Saturn with only 1 point, in line 16, it aspects

Mercury, Jupiter, and Venus benefically with 7 points. (Total value is 8).

If the planet is a benefic (with more than 4 points) like Mercury, in line

16 it will cast the same amount of malefic points upon the planet aspected -

in this case minus 5. So - 5 is entered under Saturn's row because Mercury

aspects Saturn malefically.

Hope this help you understand a bit better.

~Namaste~

Sandy

Thank you, Sandy

I couldn't understand why in 16a some planets had 5 and some had 7 and -5

now I understand that the total value is 8 like in Ron's 4th house on

15a saturn has 1 so on 16a it has to be 7.
