Guest guest
Dear Krushna Re: Complaint served on Ron I have Questions regarding your discussion of the complaint received by Ron and Venus's low points in the 8th hse. [before I get lost learning how to compute points, I have to fully understand the analytical methodology and principles, for prognosis purposes.] Sorry to be dense and thank you for your patience. In the case of the complaint during Venus sub, I understand that Venus is functional Karaka for the 8th hse, sits in hse E of the 8th hse chart and throws no disqualifying aspects. Is it eager to give the results of the 8th hse 1. because it is functional karak? OR 2. because it sits in hse E of the 8th hse chart? OR 3. merely because it has less than 12 pts in B of the 8th chart? EVEN THOUGH both Moon and Saturn have lower points and are not throwing disqualifying aspects? 4. notwithstanding the fact that it is NOT the lord of B in the 8 hse chart? Can we say that: It is giving the bad results of the 8th hse because of the low point count BUT It would have given good results of the 8th hse had the points been high to highest. In other words is the functional karak of the 8th hse the significator for both the good and bad significations of the 8th hse? Low count promoting the bad and high count promoting the good? Could it be said that Venus was qualified to give the results of the 6th hse because of its very high count there " promoting " the bad significations of the 6th hse? OR Should it be said that Venus' very high count in the 6th hse protects Ron against disease being seriously bad , or against ennemies, i.e. complaint dismissed. If I had wanted to evaluate in advance of the event, the types of NEGATIVE events that might occur during the Venus sub, looking for the pin in the haystack, could I have proceeded as follows: Step1. Asc is Leo, Venus is lord of 3rd and 10th hses, located in Leo in the first house. Step 2. Determine the functional significations of Venus as karyesh for Leo asc. [He is lord of A in the 3rd hse chart and in the 8th hse chart. Is it relevant that he sits in hse A of 6th hse chart? ] [This fits with Parashara's teaching that Venus is a functional malefic for Leo, asc! Although it must be coincidence since Mercury should be also and does not seem so bad in your system.] Step 3. I then determine the hses for which Venus, as lord of 3rd and 10th hses for Leo asc., gives results. a] as lord of the 3rd hse [b in 3rd hse chart], Venus gives the results of the 6th and 10th hses from the asc. b] as lord of the 10th hse [b in 10th hse chart], Venus gives the results of the 1st and 5th hses from the asc. c] above is reinforced by the fact that Venus is located in hse B of the 1st hse chart, which could give 8th hse results, but for the fact that Venus has only 4 pts in Leo and needed 5 for the rule to apply. Step 4. Since there are enough indications of potential difficulties, I look further at Venus in the 3rd hse chart, 6th hse chart, 8th hse chart and 1st hse chart: a] Venus throws a disqualifying glance on C in 3rd hse chart, so will not give 6th hse effects in that chart. b] Venus in the 6th hse chart: He is lord of hse D [ 2nd strongest upachaya] [As well as C-but I don't know what that means.] He does not aspect hses A,B,C, but it would not matter if he did because he is lord of D. He has 36 pts in hse B of the 6th hse chart [Capricorn], very high and 2nd highest after Jupiter. Jupiter is disqualified because he aspects C of the 6th hse chart. Saturn, his samdharmi, has more than 12 pts in Capricorn, but is disqualified because he aspects A of the 6th hse chart. b] Venus in the 8th hse chart: He sits in hse E and does not aspect A,B or C. He has only 11 pts in hse B of the 8th hse chart [pisces], 3rd lowest after Moon [8pts] and Saturn [10 pts]. We go back full circle to my question: does VENUS promote disease because of his high count in the 6th hse chart or his low count in the 8th? c] Venus in the 1st house chart: He sits in B and is lord of D. He does not throw a disqualifying glance. He has 36 pts in B in the 1st hse chart, the highest number of points. THIS emphasis on the 1st would not necessarily indicate illness. Could it indicate resistance against illness? Guest guest
Dear Krushna Sorry to keep you up so late, but this is very very helpful; don't forget to continue as promised. I will not ask questions till you have completed your explanation, to avoid creating more confusion. With best regards Christine Dear Christine, Meaning/Definitions: Functional Karak: The karkatva of a house, is based on a planet ( which is 8th lord from the house) The planet is known as karak planet. The karkatva is based on the properties of the planet, it's status, its overall power, effect of other planets, and samdharmi. Significator: The power of every planet (in row 17 of the worksheet) denotes the sterngth of the planet for giving the result of that house. The planet gives results in its sub, for all the houses, as per the points it gets. ( Venus here can give good results for 1st, 5th, 6th, and 10 house. medium for 2nd 3rd, 7th, 9th, 11th and 12th. and some what bad for 8th, and being samdharmi to Mercury bad for 7th house.) Lord of D and E: these planets are eager to give the result denoted by house B, When they get the chance to give the result, The result may be on both side but generally it is on positive side. The sight of the planet: If any planet have sight on any house A,B,or C, It avoides to give the good results in its Sub period, perticularly, but the result can be given through some samdharmi planet. If it is lord of house D or E, it can give the result. It do not mean it will spoil the result. Please note that the planet which having aspect on any house, it gives the good result of that house as per the points but in the sub period of some samdharmi planet. For bad result the effect of sight is not tobe considered. The mercury is having 7 pionts for 7th house, it is having sight on 7th house, but it can give bad results such as theft, break in partenership, Operation etc related with 7th house. For finding the overall effect of life and date of the event, First thing we must find the strength of each planet, for each house. Tabulate that as I have done in my mail under ( theory). Now Transit of sun is a important thing. In Venus sub period when Sun is transiting from the constellation of Venus, means something bad related to 8th house. At the same time we must consider the effect of other planets I will give remaining portion tomarrow, it is 1:30 Am now krushna >XINEFOURNI > > >Re: Complete study of a chart >cont-Krushna >Sat, 23 Dec 2000 12:15:59 EST > >Dear Krushna > >Re: Complaint served on Ron >I have Questions regarding your discussion of the complaint received by >Ron >and Venus's low points in the 8th hse.
