Guest guest
Respected Krushna and list Members, For the last 3 or 4 days I have been studying Krushna's lesson titled " Complete study of a Chart " . I was able to folow the methodology and able to follow all of his discussion. I followed Mr Krushna's instructions and prepared the points from all 12 houses. There was just one problem - I was unable to get anywhere near the same points as he did for line 17 on all the houses. In fact there are 31 discrepancies in the table. 10 of the discrepancies are only a matter of 1 point difference and these don't worry me as I was still for example using Version 1.2 of the worksheet when I did the calculations and there could be discrepancies in the values used for D and E houses. However there were also vases where the differences were extremely wide and these do worry me, an example of this is the points of Venus in houses 5 and 6 where Krushna gave 40 and 36 while I got 24 and 23. This worries me a great deal!!. The whole of the astakavarga system is based opn those points and is essential that we can all get the same figures. If we cannot do this then there is no point in carrying on with the method as we are bound to get different answers. I realise that the problem is probably in somthing that I am doing wrong ( although I cannot see how I could be so far out) and wondered if anyone especially Mr. Krushna could check my calculations and point out the errors. In order to save time on this I have included all the worksheet and the two points tables in an attachment. I hope that someone can assist as I have already spent several days on this matter and have got consideraly behind with other things. Thanking you and best wishes, Peter
Guest guest
Respected Peterji, Your Calculations are correct. You have not considered following. When a planet is lord of D and E then it is considered as more eager to give the result. In such case if such planet is with 4 points it is considered as nuetral or giving result on both side, and if there is any planet in the fourth place from it, then we can add the points of the planets ( basic strength) to this planet. In this case Venus is lord of D or E fot 5th , 6th , 1st, 10th house so I have added the points of jupiter ( basic strength) to venus. So adding the points of Jupiter, you will get correct value. krushna > " Peter Sutcliffe " <petermay > > > Re: Complete Study of a Chart >Wed, 27 Dec 2000 00:41:18 +1000 > >Respected Krushna and list Members, >For the last 3 or 4 days I have been studying Krushna's lesson titled > " Complete study of a Chart " .
