DearGroup -

I forgot to put the Minimize button in the project, so I corrected it and will attach it here for convenience.. I will also upload the new program to the files at the site. It will be listed under KRUSHNASCHARTS.

Thanks -

Donna

Dear Sanjay -

This is really neat. Such clean work!

Thanks. . . remember to download the latest version however, because I just realized after I put the second one up that I had a full black background on it when it appeared on the screen which I thought was fine until I tried to minimize it while sitting on top of the Excel sheet. It disappeared altogether! So I took the background off and now it appears as just a smaller window within the Excel sheet that can be minimized or not depending on how you need to reference it. One day we'll be able to combine this all together and make one nice piece of software for Krushna! ;))

I looked at your sheet last night and was working on it for a while. I love the way the planets just pop up automatically and rearrange themselves as you put in the house numbers! I find it very confusing however to read because the print is so small now due to you trying to squash all the info onto one page. And the smaller it gets, the less people may tend to use it, which would be a shame because it gets better and better! And believe me, from looking at the calculations and what you've put into it so far, I can tell that you've put alot of time into this.

As far as feedback is concerned, is there any way of breaking up the main basic page so that you can see a normal print out? Even if it's on two pages, it would make for a better presentaion, I think. Another thing is in the aspect section. You said something in the INSTRUCTIONS about the cell location of the aspects of the planets on the next page. These don't seem to match the cells correctly in the BASIC page and I found myself wondering what you were indicating here. Am I missing something or is this just a typo?

I still don't understand the SUMMARY page. What is the purpose of the extended lines past the planets on the right? Is that so we can add info by hand? Or does something pop up in those cells? Sorry for being so dumb here, but I was wondering if it did more than it shows?

As far as the calculations themselves, I've checked yours against my program, which works out easily as I can sit mine ontop and make comparisons visually, which I really like. It actually looks as though it belongs to the excel program as another page that detaches and hovers over the program. Anyway, the calculations match perfectly so far. Ultimately what people want, I know, is to be able to just put in their info and without having to input another thing, have it pop up and give them the magic answer. I guess they'll never know how much goes into that simple little gesture from behind the scenes! Good work though so far, Sanjay. If I see anything else as I go along, I'll bring it to your attention. Please do the same for me.

Thanks!

Donna

>Thanks. . . remember to download the latest version however, ..

Yes, I will.

>One day we'll be able to combine this all together

That would be nice!

>I looked at your sheet last night and was working on it for a while. I love

Actually, I have set the view to 75% because I was working on the formulas.

You can expand it to 100% or even more to suit your viewing pleasure.

>As far as feedback is concerned, is there any way of breaking up the main

basic page so that you can see a normal print out? Even if it's on two

pages,

Tell me the information that you would like from the basic page and I can

make another sheet which takes this as an input. I do not want the basic

page to be open.

>Another thing is in the aspect section. You said something in the

INSTRUCTIONS about the cell location of the aspects of the planets on the

next page. These don't seem to match the cells correctly in the BASIC page

and I found myself wondering what you were indicating here. Am I missing

something or is this just a typo?

Actually, there is a typo. It should read N35 instead of N25. Basically, I

have asked people to see the planetary aspects. For examples, if you look

below Sun, it might be aspected by Mars and Saturn. There would be 5 empty

rows. Sp I just want you to enter Mars and Saturn in the template. Until I

figure out a better way, I would otherwise have to provide seven rows

multiplied by 3 in the master sheet and that would make it big!

>I still don't understand the SUMMARY page. What is the purpose of the

extended lines past the planets on the right? Is that so we can add info by

hand? Or does something pop up in those cells? Sorry for being so dumb here,

Actually, the extended lines are for you to make judgment about planets

being good for different houses. You can also make notes on this to keep

this as a summary printout rather than carrying the sheet for all 12 houses.

Thank you, I will.
