Guest guest
Dear Sanjay - Go on, share the other reasons also! OK, the other reason that that Sandy calls me "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" started way back over a year ago when she was first having problems with her computer and asked for my help. We were kidding around at the time (like we always do) and she was not getting it, so she referred to herself as "Detective Dumbo". I would try to encourage her by saying, "Don't worry, "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman is here!". . . And from that point on, she called me "Doc" and I called her "Detective", although she DID upgrade her title to "Detective Dunno" (short for, "I don't know!" for those trying to understand this) for "status" purposes, ( can't have a Detective "Dumbo" moderating now can we? hee-hee) when she became the moderator of the list. Now a days, we just use, "Doc" and "Detective" to keep things simple. So if any of you hear that on the list, you'll at least know the history of it and understand. . . ) Donna
Guest guest
Dear Donna, Ah, that explains it all Dr. Watson. So in this case the doctor is the smart one. Doyle would not be pleased! Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, And as you can see - not much has changed over the course of a year or so (as witnessed by my latest and newest questions concerning " winmail.dat " files and " attachments " from the SATVA list)....so I'm still having computer problems, and the Doc is still trying to fix them! But I do actually do some pretty serious investigating!
