Remember when most of the Arab world enslaved women & treated them

like cattle?

That's been going on for thousands of years too!

No joke from me Harsha, here.

That's not funny.

(it's still going on)

Human ignorance can go on for millenia.

(and even more)

Does vast timespan validate ignorance?

I don't really know what the better system is,

but I sure as Hell know there must be one that is better...

Don't you?

Dear David,

Historically, women and other disadvantaged people due to their

ethnicity, race, or religion, have been oppressed in many cultures and

in many parts of the world. Slavery was considered legitimate for

thousands of years. India has had its own caste system which led to

many abuses in the past. There is no end to the horrible things human

beings do to each other. Most of us don't know what the solutions to

the world's problems are. We don't even know what the solutions to our

problems are.

The human condition is difficult. There is no doubt about that.

For me, I have found that examples of people like Mahatama Gandhi are

inspirational. One does the best one can and does the right thing

according to one's best judgment and trusts the higher power.

It is hard to explain everything that happens in the world and make

sense of it. More than that I don't know.

Love to all

Harsha
