Guest guest
From The Bryhadaranyaka Upanishad Whatever can be known has the form of mind; for mind contains all of what is known. Mind, having assumed this role, protects man. What is unknown has a form subtle like breath, for the real operation of breath is not known. Breath, having assumed this role, protects man. Of speech, which is the food of creation, the earth is the body, and light is the form, like fire. And so far as speech extends, so far the earth extends, and light also extends. Of mind, too, the heavens are the body, and light is the form, like the sun. And only so far as this mind extends, so far the heavens extend, so far the sun extends. If there is heat from fire and sun, then wind is produced, and wind is god-like and without rival. In truth, any second entity would be a rival; but he who knows this has himself no rival. ------------------ Not two, Richard
