Guest guest
Hello Yosy, Yes, this is what I am talking about. Give me Yosy, not preaching. Give me your heart, not the facts related to teaching, which are so well - known. If we talk about the teaching, if somebody has something to contribute ( not just to quote all the time, something what we all know), just go ahead. Our Richard and Harsha -man have to do some kind of education, Richard has his Guru, and it is his natural urge to give the glory to his teacher. I feel the same for Ramana. I want to hear his name in the whole world. This is a natural feeling if somebody love his Guru. Harsha-man, he does a flawless job. He is preaching (as he should do, and he reply with heart, when he find it necessary. You a very good person, Harsha man. Your talk how you love Ramana and you have tears in your eyes, that is something I would listen to every day, because I feel the same). But to have reply on my mail from something in some strictly impersonal manner,..., I've already told too much about it. And to worship Ramana, that is something which should never end. I have a confession to make: I skipped doing vichara a couple of days. When I did it today, I realized that I wasn't at home two days (vichara is being at home). Although I was talking about Ramana (which is also some kind of worship and spiritual growth), vichara is something as a daily maintenance and the ladder not to the sky, but to the Heart. Every day with vichara means to find out something new, to be calmer and happier. Can you imagine that I thought that vichara was not stress-relief practice? Because I didn't pay attention how vichara cleanse every stress, every bad emotion. I thought that my stress during vichara was because I was pushing too hard. No. Vichara just wipe all we have inside: stress, bad emotions, some inner mess, bad 'programs' of our mind, and everything is more clear. This is an another example how Ramana is great. Without any practice, he was able to find one, which works! Paul Brunton reached some kind of samadhi (I won't speculate is it sahaja or not), but to reach any kind of samadhi, that is a great thing for every Guru. Sri Chinmoy has thousands of disciples all over the world. But he says that nobody is even close to any kind of samadhi. Our beloved Ramana found the right practice. Of course, it is not his invention, but he made that method famous. Sometimes, when somebody want to offend me, he asks me: do I know a single man who had self-realization by following Ramana? Yes. Paul Brunton. And many unknown people. Vichara is a real miracle. As Ramana says, the only direct way, without any detours or self-indulging parts. Vichara teaches us many things. One of them is to be simple, to make things as much simpler as possible. It takes some time until we reach the state of real understanding, but it is worth of effort. There is a standard routine, called 'trataka', to gaze at the flame of a candle. Teachers says that we supposed to gaze at the flame, then to close our eyes and see the flame in our inner screen, some kind of vizualization. But, if you just observe the candle (the tip of the which, or the tip of the flame), there is no need to close your eyes. Plain and simple. What is the use of visualization? Vichara has a big contribution to this understanding. Mind is occupied by observing the flame (I don't talk about concentration, it is not that) and we can go deep inside. Hmm... Almost the same method as trataka, but the first include many unnecessary things: concentration, the power of will, visualization, some kind of futile effort. The second method is almost vichara. The mind is calmed by soft gazing at the candle, without any concentration, it is like a child occupied with something which is gleaming and we can dive in our heart, without our mind's diversions. Vichara helps us even to better understand vipassan. How to just observe things, thoughts, without fighting them, without encouraging them, also. Just to be present. My opinion is that everyone should be skilled in that kind of approach, because it gives us the ability to recognize some inner states in us, during vichara. We are aware, able to see even the seed of some things. For instance, I wasn't able to see how I radiate stress all around me (during vichara), that my system is cleaning itself. I wasn't aware enough. Now I can observe all these states and to ask who is in that state (if the process is not too strong), or just to observe this and stay calm. To push when we need to be calm, or to give up when we can continue, it is not good. It is very easy to make a self - torture method of this divine thing: vichara. So, learn every day through your and other people's experience, about your nature, your heart, emotions... Improve your method, tailor it for yourself. When I say 'learn', that means live and use. Gjana is not a static knowledge. If it is not used in practice, we are all nothing but some very wise books, we are not the Heart. The Heart and gjana are dynamic. They are living things. Even the inner happiness after a good vichara is not static: it is a nice, soft flow of calmness and bliss. Be blessed my brothers, especially you, Harsha man, because you opened your heart more than anyone else. And my friends, Michael Bindel and Richard, you did the same. Open your hearts, people. Ask. Share. Worship Ramana.
