From Mandala Six of Self-Knowledge

 

One without a second,

Imperturbable peace;

No suffering afflicts,

No fetter binds,

No fear to make anxious.

One can be aftaid only of an " other; "

No one can be aftaid of himself.

He who, abiding steadfastly

In the Realization of the Self,

Knows the Self to be

One without a second,

Is himself eternal Being

And is fearless at all times and places,

In life and in death.

His peace is never perturbed.

As the Absolute is,

So is he who realizes,

One Self without alternative,

One without a second.
