Inquire to know the Self,

Negating all

That is not the Self.

The body is

Not who you are

And not where you are.

The body is not the Self.

The senses are

Not who you are,

And you are not in their midst.

The senses are not the Self.

The prana is

Not who you are,

And you are not in it,

Nor is it really in you.

The prana is not the Self.

The mind is

Not who you are

And not where you are;

Nor is it really in you.

The mind is not the Self.

Never a thing or in a thing,

Never a thought or in an array of thoughts,

Not in anything and nothing in it.

Not gross, subtle, or causal,

Without creation, sustenance, or destruction,

That which remains after the negation of all else,

Inquire to know the Self.
