I'm not as conscious as I'd like to think because everywhere I look I

see zombies.

 

I see people blindly supporting trained mass murderers with little

yellow ribbon magnets placed on their petroleum-eating vehicles.

 

I dare not pretend I am beyond their slug-like level of consciousness.

 

I am equally on their level.

 

I am a slug.

 

I am sedated on opiate news of terrorists, Paris Hilton & Britney Spears.

 

(thank god for US corporate media)

 

 

It makes me so numb that murdering, torturing and terrorizing brown

people for US corporate profits is as cold as a glacier placed upon my

brain-dead brain.

 

I don't know.

 

Should I fight this?

 

(no I will retreat within into the Loving Arms of Mother Kundalini)

 

 

But either way I will *not* accept the status quo

at the Expense of my God/Goddess Essence.

Dear David, I once attended a ten day Yoga course. The Guru says " Stop reading news papers, books and magazines for ten days. Don't listen to radio or TV. I will explain at the end of the course the reason why I am giving this instruction". At the end he explained : "All the media are trying to manipulate your emotions. whether it is a news item or a TV show, the aim is to manipulate you. You can realise this by abstaining for some time from all media exposure. Once you know this truth, the hold of the media on you is lessened. You do not react intensely any more". Good advise. Practical
