Guest guest
Dear Group, We continue to find life here very good. Perhaps this weekend we will be able to move into Brindavanam. This will be most peaceful. We will need to get our cell phone first, since it is out in the country, and we will depend on auto-rickshaws to get into town. The last day has been spent mainly dealing with paperwork; getting registered with the local police and getting started on our residenct visa. Much paperwork, and they do not make it easy. The people at Ramanasramam have been a big help in getting this done, and they are generous in their support. The flame on top of Arunachala still burns, four days later. Imagine the amount of ghee that had to be carried up the 1/21 mile high mountain to keep this flame burning all these days! The spiritual devotion in this area shows in the effort just to keep this fire burning all these days. We have had very good meditation in Ramana's old hall, where he presided for about 30 years, and up the mountain to Skandansram. Also have had good meditation with Arunachala from the roof top where we are staying now. Not two, Richard
