Guest guest
I just got my cholesterol checked and found out I have high triglycerides (but not high cholesterol). I would prefer to stay away from the medicine route (esp. since I am only 29) and have done a little reading on other possibilities and found most suggestions to be to lower sugar and carbs and to increase exersize. I will definately work on eating less sugar (I am a sweetaholic) but being veg*n, I dont know how easily I can cut down on the carbs. We eat a lot of pasta and rice. I also read on one site to stay away from soy!!! Again, we eat a lot of soy. Anyone else have high triglycerides? How did you adjust your diet? Thanks for any info.
