Guest guest
Good morning everyone! It's a bit early to be talking about Thanksgiving :-) but since I've been seeing Christmas stuff out now for a month, I figured its okay (plus vegan food is one of my favorite topics... I consider it a hobby almost!) I was curious how everyone celebrates Thanksgiving. Presumably (at least looking at the poll!), we're all veg*n here. How has celebrating Thanksgiving changed for you since becoming veg*n? Do you celebrate with family, with friends? With a real (dead) turkey or with a symbolic " turkey " (like Tofurky, unTurkey, or a homemade " tofu turkey " )?? At a restaurant with friends? At an organized dinner like SFVS has? Something non-traditional - pizza party? Is it difficult to celebrate Thanksgiving with your family if you're the only veg*n? Finally, of all the commercial veggie turkey products available today, which one is your favorite and why??? If you are an event organizer, or know of a Thanksgiving event being organized, please post it to our calendar and share with others. Especially for folks new to the area, Thanksgiving is a good opportunity to meet new friends and try new foods! Cheers, Tammy
