That reminds me... A friend of mine had her Thanksgiving dinner created by

Urban Kitchen. They prepared it and delivered it to her home earlier that

day with instructions on how to heat/serve the meal. My general

recollection was that it was great.

GOURMET HOLIDAY COOKING DEMO AND PARTY!

The Center for Informed Food Choices is pleased to host a special

fundraising holiday-themed cooking demo and party with two incredibly

talented chefs: Ann Dunn and Sascha Weiss of Urban Kitchen, Fine Vegetarian

Catering. Ann and Sascha were both trained at Millennium Restaurant and are

well known for their gourmet approach to vegetarian dining. Learn from the

experts and then impress all your friends this holiday season with

innovative, creative, and delectable all plant-based party food.

 

This event is more than just a cooking demo, it's also a party! You'll enjoy

a full meal while the chefs reveal the tricks of their trade. You can also

enjoy our gracious hosts' lovely deck and dance hall. So come for the food,

come for the demo, or just come for the fun of it!

 

On the Menu:

 

a.. Appetizers: crisped won tons topped with potato aioli and cherry

tomatoes

red endive cups filled with asparagus, kalamata olives and preserved

lemons

b.. Salad: mixed greens, pears, dried cranberries, and pecans in a white

balsamic vinaigrette

c.. Entrée: phyllo roulade with sweet potatoes, wild mushrooms, greens,

and quinoa

d.. Dessert: apple & walnut tart
