Karen Sklar Tuesday, October 16, 2001 8:24 AM Hey guys, maybe you can help or know someone who can. I¹ve the most wonderful, black, 7 year old, 12 lb, medium haired, male lap cat. Jack's a real purrer and is totally affectionate and appreciative of any and all attention. He was abandoned at my cat colony and is now with me, living in my second bedroom. Problem is, he really wants more lovies than I¹m able to give him. You see, I¹ve already four felines vying for my one lap, and two of my kitties would really like to get back into their bedroom. I'd love to keep him myself, but somehow I'm still a bit too young to become one of those crazy ladies with too many cats. I could find him a home through Pets Unlimited. Humane societies do not adopt out black cats during October, the combination of Halloween and some sick people out there. And I'd much prefer the time to make a private adoption anyway. So we're looking for a foster home for him, for six to seven weeks, eight max. You provide the lap, the attention and the lovies and I'll provide the food and the toys. He's been with me for two weeks and is incredibly cute and entertaining. He's recently figured out how to turn upside down so he can peak under the bedroom door. Pretty smart, huh. But he'd really prefer to be out and where the action is, not locked in a room by himself. He¹d prefer a quite house with a person or two that come home reasonably often and makes laps for him to sit in and will pet him. He is shamefully unembarrassable about how much he likes pats and head bonks. If you know someone out of the SF Bay area, that would be fine too. I'll arrange to get him there I just want him to have a good place. Thanks for thinking about this. Karen
