I've met some great people, and have enjoyed many of these on-line discussions. I've also enjoyed running the Bay Area Jewish Vegetarians these past few months, and have met some really super people there too. But unfortunately I have become a victim of the collapse of the tech market in the Bay Area, along with the still outrageous cost of living. So, I have decided to move back to Northern Virginia, near Washington, DC. I've spent most of my adult life there, have much better job prospects, and will be just a few hours drive from my family in New York City. It would be a shame if the Bay Area Jewish Vegetarians were to die after I leave. So, this is an URGENT request for a restaurant host. I can continue to send out the e-mails and update the web page from virtually anywhere. But, I really need someone in person to make the restaurant arrangements, and manage things during the meal. Please write to me ASAP if you feel that you can take on this roll. Otherwise, this will likely mark the end of the BAJV. Thank you, Eric S.
