I've been trying to get it for a year now. It showed during it's 12th

season. First aired 11/19/2000.

Lisa the Tree Hugger (#CABF01 / SI-1201) 19 Nov 2000

Eager to join " Dirt First " after witnessing their pro-vegetarianism

demonstration atop the local Krusty Burger franchise, Lisa attempts to

prove her worth by camping out in a giant redwood destined for

logging. Meanwhile, Bart joins the workforce in order to buy a new

game console advertised on television.

--

I have in the SF Vegetarian Society library.

#1 Lisa Simpson becomes a Vegetarian (thanks J, for the copy)

#2 Lisa Simpson's future, she marries a vegetarian

They are all great videos, kids and adult will enjoy watching.

Below are my ramblings..:

This is what I'll do at family reunions:

I'll casually play the above videos and also the " Diet for a New

America video. "

I've been leaving books and literature lying around the living room

when they visit. Maybe it might catch someone's eye.

Any good suggestions on getting people to be aware of the pros of

being veggie?

Cooking good veggie food for someone is great, but I have not been

able to convince someone to stop eating meat.

Any suggestions would be great.

SFBAVeg now has 111 members in LESS than 2 months. Believe me, there's

A LOT of veggies out there. I met a lady who's a jewish veggie for 30

years, but she doesn't socalize with veggie folks.

I met her when she was gulping down a QUART of soy milk for lunch.

(wow, even I can't do that)

It wasn't too hard to guess she is a veggie.

Most new veggies are smart and young ones. There's a HUGE group of

punk rocker type vegans out there. (not to insult anyone)

I look forward to meeting all the cool veggie folks out there!

Have a great unturkey thanksgiving.

I have the episode in mpeg format you can play on your PC/Mac. It's almost

80MB in size so rather large to send via email. It's very high quality and

looks great full screen on my 21 " monitor. Drop me a line and we can figure

out how to get it to you.

Take care
