toilet paper question

Hi all,

It really is unsettling to find out when a product changes its formulation!

Especially since changes are usually for the worse. Although the product

I'm thinking about isn't an edible one, it is something every household uses

:-)

Here's my question - I used to buy (by the case) the Wisconsin Tissue

" Envision " brand toilet paper (95% PCW -post consumer waste, unbleached) for

many years, with the thought it was the most environmentally-friendly TP out

there. When I last purchased, it was unavailable from my supplier so I

bought Seventh Generation TP instead (80% PCW).

I am getting ready to reorder my case of TP, and my supplier offers both

Envision and Seventh Generation. But the Envision offering is NOT the same

as it was before. I called Georgia Pacific and they can't tell me what %

PCW it is, only that it meets EPA guidelines. They're supposed to call me

back with that information. Meanwhile I've been doing some searching on the

Internet, and it looks like Georgia Pacific purchased Wisconsin Tissue and

gutted the recycled paper product line, according to:

http://www.treecycle.com/pissues.html

This source http://www.treecycle.com/cattissue.html thinks Seventh

Generation is the best currently available. Does anyone else have any

recommendations for other TP products??

Thanks,

Tammy
