Guest guest
Any compliants on this post, please email to me PRIVATELY, NOT on the list. (there's tons and tons of vegetarians in the Bay area, please tell them to join the list. It would be great to tell them what's going on. It sometimes gets kind of lonely at times during the holiday. One guy told me, he used to get beat up being a vegetarian. A 12 year old kid is too embarrassed to eat his lunch at school cause kids laugh at his veggie meals. So let's show our brotherly and sisterly love and join as one big happy family.) Confession: It took me 5 years to find " vegetarian friends and family " ....before, only met dead-beat veggies. ----- Christmas care for hunting kitty -- Reply to: anvansch Tue Dec 4 11:01:10 2001 SO here's the deal. My friends recently discovered that their house has mice. As vegan kids, they are not so into the idea of neck-snapping/poisoning/other traditional methods of disposal. So I said: you need a cat. And they reminded me that Natalie is allergic to cats. So we came up with a comprimise: Natalie will be gone for 2 weeks over Christmas, and perhaps they could find someone who needs a cat-sitter for that same period, and the cat could be loved, fed and get some mice in the deal. Anyone? ===== -------- Pork ain't white meat. The Pork Industry thinks we're dumb enough to believe them. American Cheese ain't cheese, it's gross oil and junk. (not made from 100% real milk) It also gives the AMERICANS a bad name representing " trash food " . There are alternatives to our SMELLY cars. Once a month or more, give public transportation a chance. If more people use public transportation, the train/bus will run frequently. If not, the results are smoggy brown skis and heavy traffic jams. (hey, it's already happening for years) Buy the perfect holiday gifts at Shopping.
