Guest guest
Hi, For those of you who regularly shop at natural food stores, I wanted to mention Mountain People's Warehouse. We have a Buyer's Club account with Mountain People's Warehouse. This means we purchase from the same distributor that many natural food stores do. We've found (in comparing the products that we purchase to stores that we shop at) the prices to be at least 10-20% off. I've been doing co-op buying via MPW for several years now, and find it very convenient to order a staple items in bulk (like a case of garbanzo beans, tomato paste or facial tissue). They do have a website - including search feature to see if your product is available: http://www.mtnpeopleswhs.com/ Unfortunately, they don't have their prices online. I can bring (if you let me know in advance) the catalog with us next time we're out to a public event (which will probably be the Fund for Animals party on the 16th & holiday party at Lizzy's on the 22nd). We don't order every month, but if you're interested in ordering something next time we do an order, let us know. You'd need to pre-pay for whatever you ordered and pick it up from us (we're on the coast below Pacifica). Information on starting your own Buyer's Club is also available at the above URL.
