Vegetarian Lowcarb

Hi, I just joined this list and I skimmed the archives at .

I was wondering if anyone else out there was a lowcarber like me. I am

completely uninterested in debating the pros and cons; I just want to

connect with people. I run a mailing list and website for Vegetarian

Lowcarb <http://www.immuneweb.org/lowcarb/> but it's international and I

don't really know any locals (my local friends appreciate my cooking but

don't have the same dietary needs as I do). I would love to hook up with

folks doing potlucks, get info on lowcarb vegetarian friendly restaurants,

and share local sources of various lowcarb protein products.

My SO eats like me at home but also eats some meat and some carby foods. I

do eat some seafood, but not very often. Nearly all of my meals are veggie

with a good number being vegan, though I'm not a vegan myself. I love to

cook and invent new dishes and share them with people. Most everything I

eat is organic and I don't touch things like preservatives, artificial

sweeteners, or junk food. I'm physically disabled and can not be around

perfume or cigarettes.

I live in Oakland now but am trying to move to Guerneville or thereabouts.

I'm looking forward to hearing from people on this list. Thanks.

Cyndi
