Since they put so much care and love in their sandwich

it takes at least 15 min for it to be ready. I

suggest you call your order ahead of time and pick it

up. The " tiny " store is in front of a bus stop so

take your chance like I do and do a " fast food " pick

up.

On sundays and nights, the auto shop across the street

is closed so you can park your car there temporarily.

10% off for SFVS members, so your sandwich is $5

instead of $5.50 or so. If you find a better tofu

sandwich than her's please tell me. " Lisa " thinks she

makes the BEST.

She is also proud to say Juicy Lucy is the only

organic juice bar/deli in SF. Her juices are

outrageously good.

I had a juice party at her place where my friends and

I got a chance to try 8 types of her fabulous juice

cocktails. This is the benefit of having meals with

large groups.

Her ginger tea is good but you have to wait 15 min for

it.

Raw dessert (date with walnut) and salads are

available.

Yummy zuccini, banana breads are available but

portions are SMALL. For banana bread, I suggest:

Organic Cafe sells a whole one for $5 at Rainbow.

Daily soup like Garbonzo beans soup is good.

Lisa told me the place is not doing well and she knows

it's hard to survive being organic and veggie.

ALL her food is vegan. The only thing she sells that

is not vegan are jars of honey, which is not added to

your food.

The place seems small but during the summer, she can

put chairs outside the sidewalk and can fit 20 people

in her place.

They are opened during the days, but I don't know what

time they close during the winter, maybe 6pm.

I was the first in the veggie community to inform

others of this place, plus got 10% off for SFVS

members. Give it a try before it goes out of

business, like other places...

Juicy Lucy's phone number was at the last issue of Bay

Area naturally

In, September 2001, I took part in the World's Largest Garbage Collection,

during the CA Coastal Cleanup day. Statewide, more than 35,000 cleanup

volunteers got in the Guinness Book of World Records. Want to join me in the

year 2002 and break a NEW world record? Maybe I can get us a free t-shirt too.
