You cordially are invited to celebrate the last Friday of 2001 at a pre-New

Year's social spectacular in San Jose! The music starts at 8:00 PM and

things will roll until the last person goes home! In the interest of being

" environmentally-friendly " , please bring your own beverage cup to minimize

solid waste. (Napkins/paper plates/recycled plasticware will be provided.)

 

Please RSVP to Phil Becker @ (408)260-0519 if you plan to attend--as well as

indicate what your favorite beverage is so that Phil knows how much food and

beverage to provide! Although food and beverage will be provided--for those

who insist on bringing food and/or beverages--please make sure that anything

that you bring is purely VEGAN (devoid of any animal products--no

meat/fish/dairy/egg products...Trader Joe's and Whole Foods market can be of

great help with vegan foods that you may

want to bring!)

From San Francisco: Take I-280 SOUTH for about 50 miles; take the Santa

Clara RIGHT exit at

SARATOGA AVENUE (SOUTH); follow Harker

Main Gate directions below.

 

Alternate Route: Take 101 SOUTH for about 45 miles; take the RIGHT exit at

SAN TOMAS

EXPRESSWAY (SOUTH); continue for about 2.7 miles;

turn RIGHT (SOUTH) on to

SARATOGA AVENUE; continue for about a mile;

follow Harker Main Gate directions below.

 

From Oakland: Take I-880 SOUTH for about 40 miles; exit on I-280 (NORTH) and

continue for 1.5 miles;

exit on SARATOGA AVENUE (SOUTH); follow Harker

Main Gate directions below.

 

From Santa Cruz: Take Route 17 NORTH; exit on I-280 (NORTH) and continue

for 1.5 miles;

exit on SARATOGA AVENUE (SOUTH); follow Harker

Main Gate directions below.

 

From other points South of San Jose: Take 101 NORTH and exit on I-280

(NORTH); continue for about

4.5 miles; exit on SARATOGA AVENUE (SOUTH);follow Harker Main

Gate directions below.

 

 

From the main gate of Harker’s Saratoga Campus:

 

Head SOUTH on Saratoga Avenue for about 1.25 miles.

 

Continue on Saratoga Avenue until passing the intersection of Saratoga and

Williams;

then move into left lane.

 

Turn LEFT(east-south) on San Thomas Aquino Road (next major intersection).

 

(NOTE: At this point, start to look for a parking space on San Thomas

Aquino Road, as cars parked in the apartment complex will be towed. )

 

Continue on San Thomas Aquino Road for about 500 feet until you see a sign

which

says AEGENA APARTMENTS; turn LEFT at this sign (which is Garbo Way).

 

After entering apartment complex, proceed until the first driveway on the

left.

 

After TURNING LEFT on driveway, a building (1211 Garbo Way) will be on your

right.

 

Proceed up either set of steps at each end of the building until reaching

the

3rd floor. Walk down walkway until reaching unit #304.
