Guest guest
Just wondering if anyone has ever gone to this or knows more about it. We're just looking for something fun and relaxing to do on New Years and if it is with our family of veg*n friends, so much the better. It will feel really nice after these last couple of holidays, to spend some time in the company of those who share our ethical beliefs. For some reason, in previous years my vegetarianism has not been a big deal at family gatherings...I simply didn't eat the turkey. This year as my husband Doug & I have decided to go vegan, we have been put much more in a position of having to defend our views and of being made to feel that we are being " rude " when we don't eat the host's food. People can kind of understand not eating meat, but fighting the stereotypes of the goodness of dairy is a whole new ballgame. Anyway we really appreciate our new veg*n friends and appreciate those that put together our many chances to socialize including Tammy, Lizzy, Howard, and Das. Hope to see you all at many events in the coming New Year.
