Looking for a particular soy/wheat gluten product

I thought someone here might know what I was talking about :-)

6 months ago or so I saw an interesting " fake meat " product on the shelf

and decided to try it. I liked it a lot and want to get more.

Unfortunately, I can't remember the name and I can't find it anywhere.

I thought I found it at Trader Joe's (Emeryville) or Whole Foods (Berkeley)

but I've scoured them many times and talked to managers. Nothing. I've

checked in the local stores that carry such products with no luck. I must

have been someplace I don't ordinarily go. Or it was a product they only

carried briefly.

I was (I'm 95% sure) in the refridgerated section with the other fake meats

(small chance it was frozen, but I don't think so). It was not Yves (I

would have remembered that) but a similar looking brand. It contained 2

servings that were either 2 " patties " or one larger one (not round like a

burger) to be cut in half.

The name of the product was " salsbury steak " or those words appeared in the

product description. It had a sauce typical of that dish, though of course

the protein part was different.

It would have been soy or wheat gluten based and very low in carbs. It

also could not have been Worthington Foods or Morningstar because I'm

allergic to all their products (preservatives/additives). I'm fairly sure

it was vegan.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Cyndi
