the Chinese vegetarian restaurant or what ever it's

called on Shattuck Ave, next to the Theatre and the

Berkeley Library changed owners a year ago. The

restaurant is now called Gourmet and also serve meat

dishes. All the veggie dishes are still there. The

" duck " is very popular when I was there. A " noisy "

restaurant patron kept telling everyone to order it.

It was very well received, plus portions were HUGE.

 

This " noisy " restaurant also has a wife that says she

can't help but talk so loud. So that's the atmosphere

of the restaurant. I'm not kidding you.
