Guest guest
January and February, 2002-SamTrans: Package Trips to Ano Nuevo Take a trip to AÒo Nuevo to see the elephant seals who, every year, make their way to this secluded San Mateo County beach to mate, breed and raise their pups. To protect the seals during their stay, access to the reserve is available only by guided walks. Reservations for the popular walks are recommended. Make the trip easy on yourself and your budget by making your reservation with SamTrans. The package includes round-trip transportation to the reserve and a three-mile walk conducted by a trained docent for $12. Weekend trips are available from Jan. 5 to Feb. 24, departing from the Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. The bus also picks up passengers in Half Moon Bay. SamTrans also will operate trips at 10 a.m. on Martin Luther King Day, Jan. 21, and President's Day, Feb. 18. For more information or to get a reservation form, call the SamTrans AÒo Nuevo Hotline at (650) 508-6441. Visit for more information. By the way, the train stops in front of the Hilsdale Shopping Center. -- Animal lovers anyone planning a trip to Farm Santuary or the Farm in Fairfield near late Spring? I want to bring my non-veggie friends to have close contact with the animals. sunny ===== ---------- The past was good. Today is better. The future can be best of all.
