Just heard an announcement that Kris Welch will be interviewing Mr.

Schlosser about Fast Food Nation, on her program, Living Room,

tomorrow from noon to 1pm.

KPFA is at 94.1 FM.

P.S. -- Even though the Veg Fair is in the South Bay, I hope

KPFA (and other SF media) are being considered by the media

committee for announcements. KPFA announces events all over

the state, but scarcely ever about veg type events.

Hi Janice & other friends,

 

Thanks for your note, Janice, urging the media committee to pitch the Veg

Fair to SF media & KPFA. We're totally on the same page! We actually wrote a

set of PSAs particularly for KPFA ( " Got a taste for justice? Head on down

.... " ), and we've certainly been haranguing the SF media (and have had

success in securing writers/broadcasters who *will* cover the event -

yippee!). Also, we have pitched several of the Veg Fair speakers to several

of the broadcast journalists (Claire Cummings, the morning show folks, Kris

Welch) at KPFA, as well as other media folks.

 

Great to hear that Schlosser will be interviewed by Kris Welch this

afternoon. I'm so looking forward to seeing him tonight at Cody's.
