Guest guest
For a very interesting article on trans-fat, also called trans-fatty acids), a hidden source of danger in many if not most processed foods, see the food section of today's Chron, or go to http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/chronicle/archive/2002/01/30/FD 40307.DTL
Guest guest
For those of you who've been unable to get the hyperlink in my original message to work, try this: First, highlight and copy the " 40307.DTL " in my original post that should have been part of the hyperlink. It's located under the hyperlink and somehow got cut off from it. Then, click on the hyperlink. The web page you get will not be right. So, go up to the box where the URL is written and paste onto the end of it the part you copied from my post. Then hit enter. That should do it. If not, go to SFGATE.com and follow the links to today's news, then food, and then the article on trans-fatty acids. Sorry for the inconvenience. I don't know what happened but e-mails I've received lately have had the same problem - part of the URL left out of the hyperlink. If anyone knows why that happens or how to get around it, please let us all know. Happy trails. - <gata " Peter L.
