Guest guest
last years meat out was nixed by golden gate park cops who wouldn't let us hand out burgers without a permit or license . they seemed to be concerned about food safety and we were literally kicked to the curb and had to leave the park. we set up just outside the park and gave out literature and burgers but the exposure was so limited ... any idea if SFVS got this permit ? amy
Guest guest
Not only did we get kicked out of the park, we found that the Girl Scouts were selling cookies down the road, yet noone was complaining about them selling food (we were giving food away!). We were told that someone had complained about our presence. We were told that everyone would have to get a permit from now on.
