Guest guest Posted February 3, 2002 Report Share Posted February 3, 2002 Hi all, It was always confusing that there were two " Asian Rose " restaurants in Santa Cruz. One was a restaurant with a menu and the other featured already prepared veg entrees in a deli style display case. The order-from-the-menu restaurant " Asian Rose " has gone back to its original name " Malabar Cafe " but with a new look - very upscale & new menu, too. I'm told the new dishes are very yummy. I know the old menu was very excellent, so I'm looking forward to a trek down there to try it. I'm sure there are some Santa Cruz regulars on the list, so how about a report on Malabar Cafe?
