Sorry to clog everyone's email boxes up, but I'm from

NYC, and to be honest, Hangwa is awful. It's

over-priced and pretentious, and the food quality is

barely average. As a 15-year vegetarian who happens to

be Korean-American, I thought this place was beyond

lousy and totally a rip-off. There are great 100%

vegetarian Chinese Buddhist restaurants in Chinatown,

on Mott Street and Pell Street below Canal (the place

on Pell serves all-day veggie dim sum). Check them

out! :-)

I have to agree with c min... the only time I would go to Hangawi is when

my Mom treats ;-) Waaayy pricey. Yummy, but pricey, and better can be had

elsewhere. My fave for veg asian is VP2Go on West 4th.
