Just wanted to say a quick but heartfelt thanks to the organizers of VegFair

and all the volunteers, exhibitors, and speakers who made it possible. It

was a great day, and so nice to see so many people at this event. You

should have seen the queue of people waiting to get into the main exhibit

hall at 10 a.m. I don't know what the official count was, but I do know

those 100 bags of free cookies went FAST and that the food vendors were

absolutely swamped. I was helping the Soy Delicious vendor and the ice

cream samples were disappearing literally faster than we could scoop.

 

I talked to folks who travelled from Canada and Idaho just for this event.

And I can tell a lot of local people from the list must have been at the

fair also since there were absolutely no posts today. My gosh, this has not

happened since Christmas Eve!

 

We took some pics today and when we get them uploaded, we'll let you know.

We also enjoyed meeting several SFBAVeg members and putting names to faces.

Ditto! Great " cooking " demonstration for preparing uncooked foods. Now I

know how to make almond milk. What a great event!
