SAVE THE WHALES FROM NOISE

 

Bay Area environmentalists, led by Seaflow and Earth Island Institute, invite

the public to " An Afternoon To Save The Whales, " a presentation on the Navy's

LFA Sonar system. The LFA is an experiment left over from the Cold War, designed

to detect " enemy " submarines, and seriously threatens marine life with extremely

loud sound. Rowell's Mountain Light Gallery, 1466 66th St., Emeryville.
