YUM. I also have some great (and easy) > carob/sprouted almond cake and cookie recipes that have turned my vegan friends into inspired raw food recipe gatherers! Hi Karen & everyone, Sounds like a challenge :-) I used to attend the CCV potlucks and one couple always made these little chocolate balls with coconuts. I don't know if they were raw, but they claimed the secret ingredient was the Blue Green Algae. Anyways, I hope you can make it and bring one of your favorite treats with you.... we can try to arrange the foods so one half is cooked and the other half not-cooked if there's sufficient interest. Thanks for the reminder to use dates as a sweetener, not honey, since the Half Year Birthday Party @ GG Park Picnic is a purely vegan event. (For anyone who's new to vegetarianism, vegan basically means entirely plant-based, no animal or insect products/by-products.) Hope to meet many of you Saturday, April 6th at noon @ Golden Gate Park!
