The San Francisco Park and Recreation Department has agreed to work with In Defense of Animals to stop the trapping and killing of gophers on a 2.5-mile stretch along Great Highway in San Francisco. Please join in the effort to create a Safe Haven for San Francisco gophers. Starting Saturday, April 6, we'll need a continuous stream of volunteers to work in conjunction with the Park and Recreation Department to create a gopher friendly landscape.
