Guest guest
To our fellow picnic'ers, Thanks for coming and sharing your awesome food yesterday! It was great to meet some new faces and reconnect with familiar ones. The food was delicious, and a good variety, too. We ate so much that we are still full :-) It was a feast fit for a crowd of hungry vegans & pre-vegans! We had two types of Potato Salad, purple Mashed Potatoes, Pizza, Korean BBQ tofu, two Green Salads, Fried Rice, Rice and Bean Salad, Hummus & Chips and a variety of hot dishes from Bamboo Garden. It was all very yummy!! We also had a great selection of desserts (all homemade) - apple pies, brownies, lemon cheezecake, raspberry cheezecake.. (The apple pies were literally whole apples (cored and seasoned) and encased in a delicious pie crust.) And we can't say we left because the food ran out since there was still plenty of food left :-) While they say location, location, location is everything, and GG Park is definitely a really nice place to have an event like this, I know it was really the food and the people that made this such an enjoyable event. Definitely we'll have to do this again! Oh! And today is the last day to submit your answer for this week's contest question! Cheers, Tammy & Chris P.S: We were talking about the " Go Vegan " radio show. For those interested, here's the URL with more information: http://goveganradio.com/ It is broadcast live in LA on KRLA on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. and rebroadcast in SF on KYCY on Sundays at 9 p.m. There's a link on the URL above to listen to KRLA " live " over the Internet.
