great room in vegetarian house available may 1

Hi, we’re 3 twenty-somethings and a well-behaved dog looking for someone to

share our house with. We have a spacious room with a walk-in closet, for

rent starting May 1st. The bathroom is shared with one girl. Rent is

$1,000/month.

We live in the top two floors of a Victorian on Haight St, with high

ceilings, hardwood floors, and ample legroom. We have all the basics covered

(free washer & dryer, dishwasher) and a little more (fireplace, turntables,

DSL, big-screen tv). Two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and

laundry room / half bathroom are downstairs, and another two bedrooms and a

bathroom are upstairs.

Located between Upper and Lower Haight, the location is ideal. Far enough

removed from the scene to be residential, yet only a short stroll to all the

action on Haight. Buena Vista Park is right there (beautiful park, and it

makes for easier parking), with the Panhandle and GG Park close by. Four bus

lines outside the front door and the N-Judah nearby.

As for us, we’re all east-coast transplants, 2 girls, a guy, and a

12-year-old black lab. We’re pretty laid back and easy going. We all do our

own thing, but often do stuff together, like cooking a meal, taking in a

movie, catching a band, hiking the hills, throwing the occasional party, and

just hanging out.

Ideal roommate would be in their 20s, financially responsible, respectful of

others, easy going, vegetarian (at least in the house; extra credit for

being vegan), and fun loving. A dog might be ok, but a cat wouldn’t - unless

it likes being chased by dogs. A couple sharing the room would also work.
