I'm attempting to forward a way cool video clip that Woody Harrelson

made. I'm not sure if it will make it as I'm not that e-mail saavy. If

EarthSave Marin has a delicious potluck coming up on Sunday, April 28th,

from 5:30 to 8:30. Claire Hope Cummings from KPFA will be our speaker.

Topic: Her personal perils with reporting on GMO issues. Should be very

interesting. It's $2 for members/$4 non-members/free for first timers.

 

Come to Our 6th Annual Spring Celebration Vegan Barbeque Cookoff and

Bakeoff on May 19th, from 3:00 to 7:00. We will have lots of yummy food,

prizes will be awarded to the best barbeque and the best vegan dessert,

The Jerry Hannan Band will be entertaining us with fun, lively music,

there will be children's activities and meaningful videos to watch. This

is an indoor and outdoor party! It's $8 for members/$10 non-members.

Bring a friend receive a gift, bring 3 get in free. Please bring a dish

to serve 10. Bring your favorite vegan barbeque offering or a vegan

dessert and enter to win. If you're not up for competing, please bring

your favorite traditional picnic salad (vegetarian of course/vegan

encouraged).

 

Both events are located at the The Unitarian Church at 240 Channing Way

in San Rafael. The directions are as follows: Take Hwy. 101, exit at

Freitas Pkwy (approx. 15 minutes north of the Golden Gate bridge/5

minutes north of the Richmond Bridge). If northbound, veer to your right

then turn left onto the frontage road, Redwood Hwy. If southbound, turn

left, cross the highway, turn left then go north on Redwood Hwy. Now

turn right at the first light onto Professional Center Pkwy. At the top

of the hill, turn right onto Channing Way. The church is on your left.
