[sFBAVeg] " NPR's All Things Considered, " Monday April 15 on

animal welfare issues.

Dear Friends,

I just got this alert from another group. NPR visited PeTA's headquarters

about six weeks ago, to include in a larger story about McDonald's efforts

to improve animal welfare standards. The program is being aired on today's

" All Things Considered. " You can tune into KQED (88.5 FM) at 4:30 for the

show.

Cheers,

Alka

> If you miss the show on air you can listen on line at:

http://www.npr.org/programs/atc/. Ignore the note about it being available

at 10pm - it is there now.

You'll find loads of information about the program at:

http://www.americanradioworks.org/features/mcdonalds/index.html

I will do a more thorough write up later but wanted to get something out

immediately for those of you, probably West Coasters, who may still have a

chance to catch the show live. Los Angeleseans such as myself can listen on

89.9 at 4pm.

The following link should help you find your local NPR station. The

station's website should have a schedule of programs.
