Here are the Senators for California's numbers:

Diane Feinstein 202-224-3841

Barbara Boxer 202-224-3553

HSUS suggests that you make them take your name and address to show them

you're a constituent. It only takes a second to do this. I just say, " I'm

calling to ask Senator X to vote against the Farm bill that the House passed

yesterday. "

[sFBAVeg] Farm Bill in Senate -- Please Call!

> (thought we could all pass this along to EVERYONE we know; i've been

making several calls on behalf of family and friends. you can do the same.)

>

> I won't get into details here, as you can find a helpful summary here:

http://www.hsus.org/ace/14023, but I urge you to read it. I wish I was

delivering good news, but I'm not, which is why I am calling on your for

more help!! The Farm Bill has come out of the " conference committee, " where

industry-influenced representatives and senators removed every

animal-friendly amendment before sending it back to the House and Senate to

vote again. Sadly, the House passed this new Farm Bill yesterday, and the

Senate is expected to vote on Tuesday May 7.

>

> If we can kill it in the senate, we can save billions of lives. If we

can't, it is a very, very sad day for the animals we are trying so

desperately to protect. These protections are no-brainers; we're not asking

for the moon!

>

> PLEASE, PLEASE contact your senators and ask your friends and family all

over the country to just pick up the phone, dial the Congressional

switchboard at 202-224-3121, and ask for the senator. Please urge your

sentors to vote NO on the Farm Bill, as it is completely different from the

original Farm Bill we urged them to pass several months ago and contains no

protections for animals whatsoever.

> To find your senators, use this resource:
