[sFBAVeg] Veg*n Foods for Emergency Earthquake Food kit

Hi all,

We do live in the earthquake zone. We just had a recent reminder! Various

sources say to have emergency food and water set aside in case of

electricity and water unavailability. As vegans, we were trying to think

what foods we'd include in our kit.

The short list we've come up with so far includes:

-canned foods (beans, veggies & fruits... )

-Luna & Clif Bars....

- " Tasty Bite " no-cook Indian entrees (they tend to be on the spicy side)

I know there's vegan jerky out there (by companies like VegiDeli or Turtle

Island) but that's not very filling.... But on the plus side it is

lightweight.

What else?? Any other ideas/suggestions?

Thanks,

Tammy
