Ringling Bros. and SF Library--letters needed

The San Francisco Public Library is planning to offer tickets to

the Ringling Bros. circus as a prize option for kids who complete

their summer reading program.

 

If you have time to write a polite letter to the Chronicle editor

and/or to the library's public affairs person, it would really

help--apparently the library doesn't like controversy, but doesn't

realize what a hot issue this is for a lot of us.
